Picture
an artist taking a huge ball of clay, kneading
it, folding it and kneading it again, between
his/her fingers to get it ready for sculpting.
The artist then begins his/her process of
sculpting a piece. In the course of forming and
smoothing the mold into shape not really
knowing how or what this will be only to know
this piece will be of purpose. The artist
fingers are hard at work reshaping the mold,
adding more clay and scraping some of it away
unaware of the results simply continuing to
create something. This process is fun,
exhausting, humiliating, scary, challenging and
never ending. This artist is instructed by god
and the clay sculpture is me…..

I
often refer to myself as a piece of sculpture.
A piece, that is in the continual and never
ending process. Year after year, shaping into
something different, but, still the same soul.
I am in a constant quandary of this sculpture
certain to have no regrets and proud how it has
accomplished. I am learning to meditate (as
this takes patients and practice) but
importantly and spiritually, Prayer works!

I
gravitate to the beauty and the mystery of art
and nature. Our environmental status concerns
me so I strive to make a difference. I have
been a firm believer of recycle, reduce and
reuse all my life. I enjoy creating things as
well as ideas and take pride in the adventure
of bringing forth, especially when I’m able
to create with recycled material.
Now
knowing a little about me I hope you enjoy
viewing my art and know it was passion and love
that caused me to create. If you would like to
contact me please call 262-268-1773.
Enjoy,
Jean
