Why Study Herbs
by Phyllis Heitkamp

Many years ago when I was studying what herbs do and how they work on the body; I asked my sister," Why am I studying about herbs when we know that there are so many other ways to heal?"

My sister said, "It is because most people need a crutch to heal."

She was so right. We feel that it takes something or someone outside of ourselves to heal us and keep us health. Most of us have no idea the power each person has.

I have a friend who starts every morning out with a glass of water. She puts the glassful on the palm of one of her hands and covers the top with the other hand. Then she speaks with intention and puts everything that her body needs for the day, into the water. (In the beginning was the Word.) She drinks the water and is ready for her day.

Another friend decides what her body needs and writes it on a piece of paper. (Words have vibrations) She carries the paper on her body all day. Whatever is needed is attracted to her all day.

Herbs on the other hand carry with them 50 to 200 ingredients that may not be found in processed foods.

As this is a planet of Choice, we all have this ability to decide how to care for this body that we were given as we see fit.

Your choices will be the right ones for you!
